It's an easy upgrade, with everything needed to replace all the original steel hardware with stainless steel hardware. Stainless hardware offers a nice shiny look, excellent rust protection, and is perfect for more humid environments. Check it out!

Stainless steel hardware offers excellent corrosion protection and it looks fantastic. However, class 12.9 black oxide steel is significantly stronger than A2 or A4 stainless steel. The Min. Yield Strength
(MPa) is 1100 vs 450, and the Min. Tensile Strength
(MPa) is 1220 vs 700. That’s about twice the yield and tensile strength. We originally chose to offer class 12.9 black oxide steel as standard equipment due to its enormous strength qualities, especially compared to A2 or A4 stainless steel hardware.

We do recognize that pilots want options, which is why we now offer the stainless hardware choice. The stainless steel option is available as a standard equipment choice on new or as an upgrade to all existing Moment Paramotors. The upgrade kit can be retrofitted to existing Moments in a few hours.
